Mubarak arrives in U.S. for meeting with Obama
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak arrived in Washington on Saturday for a summit with his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama Tuesday in the White House.
"The two leaders will discuss the full range of issues if common concern, including Middle East peace, combating extremists and other regional threats, and promoting reform across the Arab world, as well as how to strengthen the bilateral relationship," said the White House in a statement issued last week.
Before the summit, President Mubarak will meet with senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, National Security Advisor James Jones and Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair.
